Therapy consists of removing a small amount of blood from the body through an IV site, the blood is then infused with ozone then re-infused back into your bloodstream(pass). Usually, it takes 20-45 minutes to complete IV therapy. It also depends on how much fluid and nutrients you receive, the size of the catheter, and your body.
You may be afraid of receiving an IV since it does involve a needle. However, the pain is minimal since the size of the catheter or needle is small. We will give you a topical anesthetic to reduce the pain if you would like. Come in and try it for yourself.
Just about any adult. We require patients who receive IV therapy to be at least 18 years old. Safety is a big concern, and we do not treat patients with heart failure, chronic kidney disease, cirrhosis, and patients who need care beyond what we can do. Call our clinic if you have questions.
Replacing fluids, electrolytes, medications, vitamins, and nutrients quickly helps you recover faster. IVs are more efficient than ingesting the ingredients in pill or liquid form. You bypass the gastrointestinal tract, and the liquids are absorbed faster into your body. You will feel amazing after your IV therapy.
Licensed medical professionals, including nurses, EMTs, and Physicians, start IVs. However, only experienced professionals will administer your IV drip.
There is always a small risk of infections, slight pain, bruising, and bleeding when a needle pierces the skin. We do everything we can to avoid these side effects. We do proper prep and needle usage and use trained professionals. If needed, we use vein finders and medications that reduce pain.
Some have allergies to specific medications, and to avoid complications; we take a medical history to reduce the chance of using medications you may have an allergy to. If you have an allergic reaction, we take steps to correct the problems. An IV is safe when all the steps are met, and a trained professional administers your IV.

You can receive oral and intramuscular injections of medications based on your symptoms. These are B12, anti-nausea medications, anti-inflammatories, and anti-pain medications.

It is not common after an IV to have bruising, but this can happen anytime a needle pierces the skin. Blood will accumulate under the skin from a small amount of blood leaking out of the vein. This action might leave a small bruise or a hematoma (swelling of clotted blood in the tissues.) Bruising and hematomas improve within a few hours to a few days as your body absorbs the blood and breaks it down.
You cannot overdose on our IVs. All ingredients are metabolized in your body quickly. Therefore, you can technically receive an IV daily if needed. However, once a day is very rare, and based on your body and therapy, you can receive therapy once or twice a week.
We follow specific protocols for certain symptoms and treatments. We have a medical director who is a physician and is available for any treatment. Most of our treatments are carried out by our nurses, trained in IV therapies. We will discuss your situation to find the best treatment for your symptoms.
